Based just outside of the fictional borough of Gilbert, Texas, the show focuses on the off-color activities of a brothel that garners its name from the days of the Depression when customers were allowed to pay with poultry. A musical masterpiece created by Larry L. King, Peter Masterson and Carol Hall, "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" was inspired by the closing of a real-life brothel in King's home state. Admission for all performances is $14 for adults and $7 for students and senior citizens. Tickets are available for walk-up sales at the Box Office at the Kleinpell Fine Arts building. They may also be purchased by phone at 715-425-3114 or toll-free 800-228-5423. For more information on this production, please contact director Jim Zimmerman at 715-425-4288.
