Students Receive National Scholarships

OCT. 12, 2007--Three University of Wisconsin-River Falls students have been selected to receive the 2007 Upper Division Scholarship sponsored by the National Association of Agricultural Educators (NAAE) and Thompson Delmar Learning.

The three students, all majoring in agricultural education, are: (left) Travis Klinkner, Cashton, Wis.; (below, right) Erin McNally, River Falls; and (below, center) Hannah Sheller, Montello, Wis.

Universities nationwide nominate agricultural education students for this scholarship. This year only 14 students were chosen. NAAE's scholarships are $750 to be used for a student's college education, especially during their student teaching time.

NAAE's mission is to foster "professionals providing agricultural education for the global community through visionary leadership, advocacy and service."
