'Coffee with the Times' Series Addresses Current IssuesOCT. 8, 2007--A number of current topics will be addressed by the University of Wisconsin -River Falls Coffee with the Times lecture series throughout October and November. Alan Tuchtenhagen, UWRF associate vice chancellor for enrollment services. ·Oct. 30, 3:30 p.m., 1874 Room, University Center: "Transitions in the Middle East," Don Betz, UWRF chancellor. ·Nov. 6, 12:30 p.m., Falls Room, University Center: "Restorative Justice," Kris Miner, director of the St. Croix Valley Restorative Justice Program. ·Nov. 14, 9 a.m., Falls Room, University Center: "War Made Easy," Norman Soloman, syndicated columnist and national media critic. ·Nov. 26, 3 p.m., Falls Room, University Center: "Historical Perspectives on Income Inequality in the U.S." Betty Bergland, chair of the UWRF history department.
