Diversity Celebrated on Campus, in Community

APRIL 30, 2007--The University of Wisconsin - River Falls celebrated of diversity with the annual event, Unity in the Community, April 25. Events included a welcome by River Falls Mayor Don Richards, a community drum circle, a Japanese dance demonstration feature guest dancer Einojo Senju, headmaster of the Senju School of Japanese Classical Dance and visiting professor to UWRF, as well as a performance by Teatro del Pueblo. The festivities spread from campus to downtown River Falls with evening performances in Veteran's Park. Unity in the Community is a joint initiative between UWRF, its Wyman Series and Diversity Awareness Committee, and the City of River Falls.
