May Concerts Scheduled

APRIL 27, 2007--As the semester winds down and summer approaches, the music department at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls presents the following free concerts for the public.

·Tuesday, May 1, 7:30 p.m., Guitar Ensemble Concert, UWRF music faculty member Joe Hagedorn, director; Woodwind Ensembles, directed by UWRF music faculty Janis Weller, Pat O'Keefe, and David Milne.

· Thursday, May 3, 7:30 p.m., Percussion Ensemble Concert, UWRF music faculty member Patti Cudd, director.

· Friday, May 4, Noon, "The Final Exam Jam" featuring UWRF Jazz Ensembles I and II, directed by UWRF music faculty member David Milne, Falcon's Nest Entertainment Center, University Center.

·Saturday, May 5, 3 p.m.- Senior Recital: Vince Baumel, voice (tentative).

·Sunday, May 6, 3 p.m.- Piano Ensemble Concert, UWRF music faculty Carolyn Britton and Roger McVey, directors.

·Sunday, May 6, 7:30 p.m.- Senior Recital: Karla Miller, tuba (tentative).
