Juried Exhibit Opens in Gallery 101

APRIL 13, 2007--The University of Wisconsin-River Falls art department is hosting its annual Juried Student Exhibition in Gallery 101 of the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building with invited juror Sandra Menelee Taylor of St. Paul, Minn.

Each year students are invited to submit works of art (any works--ceramics, drawing, fibers, glass, photography, and on) to be selected by the juror for exhibition. Taylor held a discussion with students about her choices on April 11. The traditional juried show acts not only as a showcase for students but is also a way for students to hear a new perspective on their art.

The exhibition opened April 13 and runs through May 2. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. For more information contact the art department at 715-425-3266.
