One Acts Close University Theatre SeasonAPRIL 13, 2007--The UW-River Falls University Theatre closes the season with three nights of student directed one-act plays. The action begins at 7 p.m. in the Syse Theatre (also known as the Black Box) in the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building May 1 and runs May 2-3. The performances are free and open ot the public but donations are welcome. The students of SCTA 335 (Directing 1) will display their chops alongside fellow students and assorted actors as part of their coursework for professor Meg Swanson. The one acts are put together entirely by the students; they choose the material, casting, and oversee every aspect of production. The line-up includes: May 1: " Ariel Bright;" "How to Kill a Vestal Virgin;" "Wanda's Visit;" "The Unseen Host;" and "Desire Desire Desire!" May 2: " The Love Course;" "Visitor From Forest Hills;" "Chicago;" "Slide/Over;" and "Golden Fleece." May 3: " Barrier of Nearness;" "Ashes to Ashes;" "Mel Says to Give You His Best;" and "The Lover."
