Student Art Exhibit Set in Library Gallery

MARCH 2, 2007--University of Wisconsin-River Falls student Andi Back, a senior bachelor of fine arts major from Alexandria, Minn., will exhibit her
senior show in the Harriet Barry Gallery of the Chalmer Davee Library from March 20 to 30, 2007.

The show "A Creature of Comfort," is a display focusing on the coexistence between animals and humans, according to Back. The exhibit includes prints, photographs, and some installation work dealing with the influence both animals and humans have had on one another, for example, works illustrating the discomfort that humans may have about some species of animals.

The exhibit is open during regular library hours, Monday - Thursday 7:45 a.m. - 11 p.m.; Friday, 7:45 a.m. - 6 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 - 11 p.m. For more information contact the library at 715-425-3321.
