Music Department Sets March Concert Lineup

FEB. 23, 2007--The University of Wisconsin-River Falls music department is hosting a variety of concerts and events throughout the month of March.

Unless otherwise noted, all concerts are performed at the Abbott Concert Hall in the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building. Concerts are subject to change; for more information on visit the UWRF music department's web site at http://uwrf.edu/music/events.html or call 715-425-3183.

Tuesday, March 6, 7:30 p.m. - Symphony Band Concert, Kristin Tjornehoj, Director. Admission: $8 General, $5 with Student ID.

Thursday, March 8 3:30 p.m.- Composition Recital. Admission: Free.

Tuesday, March 20 7:30 p.m.- Senior Recital, Kylte Thomas, Bassoon (tentative). Admission: Free.

Wednesday, March 21 7:30 p.m.- ARS Ventures (more information to follow).

Thursday, March 22 7:30 p.m.- Low Brass Studio Recital (more information to follow). Admission: Free.

Saturday, March 24 3:00 p.m.- Senior Recital, Amanda Staberg, Voice (tentative). Admission: Free.

Tuesday, March 27 7:30 p.m.- Guest Recital, David Munkittrick, Piano. Admission: Free.

Thursday, March 29 3:00 p.m.- Convocation Student Honors Recital. Admission: Free.
