TC Gospel Choir to Appear

FEB. 19, 2007--The Twin Cities Community Gospel Choir is coming to energize the University of Wisconsin - River Falls with their soulful singing on Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. in the North Hall Auditorium.

Members with diverse backgrounds and varying degrees of musical experience and ages come together in the choir to create an inspirational delivery of African American religious music. The performance, featuring both traditional spirituals and contemporary popular gospel melodies, is guaranteed to get an audience out of their chairs and onto their feet.

The group is led by Robert 'Eddie' Robinson, a talented veteran of gospel music. Robinson has performed with such greats as Jermaine Jackson, Prince, and Aretha Franklin, and currently tours with pianist Lorie Line.

This event is open to the public and free for UWRF students with their campus ID. Tickets for the general public are $5, and $3 for those 18 and under.
