Allina Executive Shares Insights with UWRF Business College, Community

OCT. 23, 3006--Richard Pettingill, president and CEO of Allina Hospitals and Clinics, which includes the River Falls Area Hospital, spoke to more than 125 people Oct. 17 as part of the Executive-in-Residence Program sponsored by the UW-River Falls College of Business and Economics and the Pierce-Pepin Cooperative Services. His presentation highlighted the organization's transformation from a decentralized holding company that was losing money when Pettingill arrived in 2002 to a high performing operating company that is now a national model for quality and community health care.
