UW-RF Offers Residential Design ClassJUNE 9, 2006--Residential subdivisions are changing the face of the region. Gain an understanding about historical land use patterns, the development forces shaping built environments, and the tools available for managing growth in a class offered by the University of Wisconsin-River Falls this summer. "Residential Design Options," offered June 22-28, is a practical course combining workshop activities and site visits to compare and contrast the typical subdivisions with newer development options. Participants will gain an appreciation of the aesthetic, economic, social, and environmental qualities of various residential development approaches and an understanding of the variety of development options available today. The UW-River Falls Outreach and Graduate Studies Office provides lifelong learners with academic, professional development and enrichment programs that are practical, flexible, convenient and affordable.
