May Music Roundup

APRIL 28, 2006--The University of Wisconsin-River Falls music department offers a variety of entertainment in May. All concerts are held in the William Abbott Concert Hall in the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building on campus unless otherwise noted. Performances are open to the public.

Upcoming concerts include:

May 1, 8 p.m. Brass Choir Concert. Directed by music faculty member Rick Gaynor. Free.

May 2, 8 p.m. the Symphony Band concert. Directed by music faculty member Kristin Tjornehoj. Jack Stamp is the guest composer/conductor. Tickets are available at the door. Adults are $5, seniors are $3, students are $2, and children age 5 and under are free.

May 4, 8 p.m. Percussion Ensemble concert. Directed by music faculty Patti Cudd. Free.

May 5, 11:30 a.m. Symphony Band Outreach Concert. Directed by Kristin Tjornehoj. Free.

May 5, 7 p.m. UW-RF Jazz Ensembles I and II will perform "The Final Exam Jam," directed by music faculty member David Milne in Brandy's in the Hagestad Student Center. Free.
