Real Estate Entrepreneur to Speak

APRIL 21, 2006--A highly successful Silicon Valley real estate entrepreneur and University of Wisconsin – River Falls alumnus will bring his business insights to campus through the College of Business and Economics Executive-in-Residence Program.

Sang Ik Hahn will present a free public lecture titled, "Achievement: Real Estate Development," on April 27 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in the River Room of Rodli Commons.

Hahn was born in Korea and came to the United States to study economics. He earned a graduate degree in agricultural economics from UW-River Falls in 1975 and moved to California to pursue his career. He became an early investor in the growth of the Silicon Valley and formed SIH Investment Inc. in 1981. The company specializes in real estate development.

Hahn has partnered in the construction of numerous large apartment complexes and served as general manager for the Coronado-Stenderway business park.
