Comm Dis Program Seeks Public Input

FEB. 24, 2006--The Council for Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech Pathology (CAA) will be conducting an accreditation site visit to the University of Wisconsin - River Falls on March 2 at 4:15 p.m. in Room 117 of the Wyman Education Building. The public is invited to attend the meeting in order to provide feedback to the visiting members of CAA.

The CAA is reviewing UW-RF's communicative cisorders curriculum. The CAA, which has accredited programs at 264 other institutions of higher learning nationwide, is the only organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit or pre-accredit educational programs in audiology or speech pathology.

For more information on the CAA, or to review a copy of its Standards for Accreditation, please visit http://asha.org/about/credentialing/accreditation or call 800-498-2071.
