Fiber Exhibit Set for Gallery 101FEB. 17, 2006--Morgan Clifford, a University of Wisconsin-River Falls art professor, has assembled an exhibit featuring fibers artwork from current UW-RF students and alumni on display March 3 - 9 in Gallery 101 of the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building. The collection includes weaving, surface design on silk, hand-made felt, sculptural works and garment design. The exhibit is free and open to the public. Clifford received her bachelor's degree in art with a fiber emphasis from Beloit College, and a master of fine arts from Cranbrook Academy of Art. She has exhibited her work in major cities around the world including Minneapolis, Boston, Chicago, Washington, D.C. and Tokyo as well as designed work for several commissions and collections.
