COMBAT STRESS EXPERT TO SPEAK AT UW-RF OCT. 13


OCT. 7, 2005--A specialist in combat stress will speak at UW-River Falls on Oct. 13 about his experiences Iraq.

Lt. Col. Neil O'Connor will talk about his combat zone experiences at 12:50 p.m. in the North Hall Auditorium. It is free and open to the public.

O'Connor is a clinical social worker at UW-Madison Hospital Oncology Center who recently spent a year in Iraq assigned to the 452 Combat Support Hospital.

He will present on clinical roles in war stress, policy implications of providing medical services in the military, and military social work and also answer questions.
