UW-RF BOOKCLUB MEETS

SEPT. 30, 2005--The Lion's Paw Book Club at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls will meet at 3 p.m. on Oct. 12 to discuss "Saturday" by Ian McEwan in the Breezeway of the Chalmer Davee Library. The event is free and open to the public.

"Saturday" is a post 9/11-influenced work that follows a day in the life of neurosurgeon Henry Perowne as he deals with questions raised by the event and its aftermath. Retired UW-RF English Professor Jim Delaplain will lead the discussion.
