Economics Seminar Starts Sept. 23
SEPT. 16, 2005--The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Center for Economic Research is sponsoring a Friday Seminar Series featuring professors from the College of Business and Economics.
A social and refreshment time is from 3 to 3:15 p.m. in 317 South Hall, followed by the presentations in 321 South Hall from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. The seminars are free and open to the public.
The first presentation, "Assessment of Health Care Brand Logos," is Sept. 23. Darryl Miller, a professor of marketing, will present findings from a content analysis of health care brand logos of Fortune 500 health care corporations.
Upcoming seminars by College of Business and Economics faculty include: Jude Rathburn an Lori Peterson on Oct. 7 with "Teaching, Learning, and Multiple Intelligences: Implications for Business Educators; Hossein Najafi on Oct. 21 with "Data Infusion Using Artificial Neural Networks; Ozcan Kilic on Nov. 11 with "Does Customer Orientation Lead to Customer Commitment?"; and Megan Sun on Dec. 2 with "Volume and Volatility: What Drives It."
