Alumna Performs Concert at UW-RF

Pianist and vocalist Vicky Emerson will perform at the William Abbott Concert Hall in the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building at the UnIversity of Wisconsin-River Falls on Sept. 23 at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

A 1998 graduate of UW-RF, Emerson has been praised for her stylings and has noted as a "mixture of Dido and George Winston" by an eclectic group of critics and journalists including Billboard Magazine , WCCO's Don Shelby and Minnesota Public Radio's Tom Mudge. She is profiled in the forthcoming issue of Falcon Features , UW-RF's alumni magazine. Emerson has released three albums: her newest CD, "Reach," and Anymore" and "Tomorrow."
