UW-RF Seeks English Conversationalists

JULY 22, 2005--UW-River Falls is seeking residents who are willing to spend a lunch hour speaking English with international students to help them to polish their language skills.

The event is set from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, at the Regional Development Institute.

Some 19 international students are coming to campus as part of a summer English Language program, which is a collaboration between UW-RF, UW-Eau Claire and UW-Superior.

The students are primarily from Korea and are considering taking additional college classes in the U.S.
