UW-RF Celebrates UW Spirit Week

APRIL 15, 2005--University of Wisconsin staff, alumni and friends gathered for a group photo in celebration of the UW System Spirit Day April 15 in front of the UW-River Falls Hagestad Student Center. Spirit Day was one of many events celebrated during UW Spirit Week, April 10 to 16, which included declarations by Gov. Jim Doyle, as well as a Joint Legislative Resolution, co-sponsored by State Sen. Sheila Harsdorf, (R-River Falls), chair of the Senate Higher Education and Tourism Committee, and Rep. Rob Kreibich (R-Eau Claire), chair of the Assembly and Colleges Committee. The celebration was held across the state to showcase and celebrate the contributions of the nearly 500,000 UW alumni who live and work in Wisconsin.
