Speaker Highlights Photog Ansel Adams

APRIL 1, 2005--Jeanne Adams, the daughter-in-law of the famous landscape photographer Ansel Adams, will speak at 7 p.m. on April 18 in the North Hall Auditorium at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

Jeanne Adams and her husband Michael, son of Adams and Virginia Best Adams, has operated the 102-year-old, four-generation family business for 30 years. The business, Ansel Adams Gallery, is located in Best’s Studio in Yosemite National Park. has had broad experience in the arts, environmental action, higher education, and business. She also has received national recognition for a lifetime of public service.

This speech is open to the public and free to UW-RF students and is sponsored by the Wyman Series at UW-RF. Non-student admission is $5. For more information, call the Student Leadership Center at 715/425-4911.
