Teen U/College for Kids Seeks Instructors


FEB. 4, 2005--The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Outreach and Graduate Studies office is looking for enthusiastic, qualified individuals who want to share their knowledge and experience with youth.

The Teen University and College for Kids summer educational programs for gifted and talented students will be held again on the UW-RF campus this summer.

The Teen University program, designed for students ages 12-14, is June 20-24 with classes held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and classes from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. College for Kids, created for students ages 9-11, will be July 11-22 with classes held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Teachers may offer classes for one week or two weeks.

Previous course offerings have included: chess, origami, Spanish, German, forensic science, rockets, food science, scuba diving, radio production, science subjects, and a variety of art and writing courses.
