Entrepreneur Training Offered at UW-RF
JAN. 28, 2005--The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Small Business
Development Center in the College of Business and Economics is offering
an entrepreneurial training program during February, March and April.
This program is a comprehensive series of classes in small business fundamentals
and business plan development built for both the new and existing business
owners. Program components include: legal issues, finance, staffing, accounting
and marketing.
The Wisconsin Department of Commerce is offering grant reimbursement for
75 percent of the program fee for qualifying individuals. Course fee $1000;
if a business owner is the recipient of a WDOC grant, the cost to the
individual will be $250.
The class, held in Room 218 South Hall, is eight sessions, from 6 to 9
p.m. on Mondays, Feb. 21 and 28; March 7, 14, 21 and 28; and April 4 and
11.
