By Molly Exner
UW-RF News Bureau
JAN. 28, 2005--Honoring the achievements of UW-River Falls faculty and
staff, a reception will be held to celebrate their research, scholarship
and creative activities from 3 to 4:30 p.m., Feb. 15 in the Chalmer Davee
Library Atrium at UW-River Falls. The event is free and open to the public.
Papers, journal articles, books, playbills, visual art works and material
pertinent to successful grant requests produced by UW-RF faculty and staff
will be on display in the Harriet Barry Gallery in the Chalmer Davee Library
from Feb. 14 to 25. All work must have been published, presented, displayed
or funded during the 2004 calendar year.
The respected works represent the achievements produced by faculty and
staff outside the classroom over the last year seeking to enrich the campus
and the community.
The third-annual event is sponsored by the Chalmer Davee Library, the
UW-RF office of the provost and the UW-RF office of grants and research.
For more information on the reception or display, contact the Chalmer
