Wyman Series Presents High-Energy Performance
JAN. 21, 2004--DREAM, a high-energy performance company redefining urban
underground culture for the stage, will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 1
in North Hall Auditorium at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls as
part of the 2004-05 Wyman Concert and Lecture Series.
DREAM (Destiny Re-defining Education through Art and Movement) is a collective
of multidimensional professional performance artists combining dance,
poetry, storytelling, and rap to create inspirational pieces that are
technically powerful, soulfully expressive, and profoundly meaningful.
The racially and ethically diverse group of young men and women brings
a message of empowerment and social justice to audiences nationally and
internationally. The group's vision of personal and social transformation
pays respect to cultural history and values.
