Noted Comedian to Perform
JAN. 21, 2005--Stand-up comedian Isaac Witty will perform at 8 p.m., Feb.
2, in Brandy's at the Hagstad Student Center on the UW-River Falls campus.
Witty's love for stand-up comedy began while touring with his parents,
who made their living by doing Christian sketch comedy in churches across
the country. After moving to Minneapolis, Minn., he hosted the "The
Big Bad Movie" show while continuing to perform in A-room comedy
clubs.
Over the past seven years, Witty's wit has been featured on "Late
Night with David Letterman," "The Bob and Tom Show," National
Public Radio and at the 2003 Montreal Comedy Festival. He is known for
his clean and obscure performances.
This comedy performance is sponsored by the UW-RF Entertainment Committee.
It is free and open to the public. For more information contact the Student
Leadership Center at 715/425-4911 or visit Witty's Web site at www.isaacwitty.com.
