DetailsThis course will offer an advanced discussion of the philosophy of community education and the operation of community education programs. Emphasis will be on complex management issues including developing budgets, organization, planning/assessment, policies and the research that supports the community education philosophy. It will also help students meet the requirements of the National CE Association's administration endorsement certificate. The course is a building block to help students develop the skills necessary to manage complex community education, community schools, extended learning programs, and family-community-school partnerships. Prerequisite: TED 730.
