| | | Details | The introductory course is designed to acquaint the student in school psychology with a variety of contemporary issues pertinent to the practice of psychology in the schools. Included are discussions of the delivery of psychological services, current practices in school psychology, professional ethics and responsibilities, and controversial issues in the field. Special emphasis is given to the various roles and functions of practicing school psychologists, both in urban and rural settings. The provision of school psychological services to diverse populations is also reviewed. |
