Details	The techniques in playwriting are examined and applied. Attention will be given to theories in dramatic construction and application of theories in creation of a one-act play. Emphasis will be placed on dramatic structure, writing believable dialogue, character creation, scenario development, and technical skills necessary to producing a finished script. Prerequisite: Freshman English sequence or consent of instructor.(Sp)
