Details	This course examines physics topics discovered post-1900. Participants learn about Einstein's special relativity, quantum physics, atomic structure, wave mechanics, nuclear structure, and particle physics. They also learn ways to integrate these topics into their own classes. Course format includes lecture, individual help in problem-solving, laboratory, and a group idea-sharing session. Participants must be certified to teach or be close to obtaining certification with instructor's approval and have at least one year of general college physics. (SS)
