DetailsA language proficiency course that builds intercultural communication skills through the study of Latin American chronicles, poetry and, prose from the period of the conquest and colonization to the mid nineteenth century. Representative authors are sampled along with some of their major works. Essential background for an understanding of the various periods is included. The course is taught in Spanish. Prerequisite: SPAN 202 or consent of instructor.(F, alternate years)
