| | | Details | This course examines the role of government in the economic system. Emphasis is placed on the analysis and evaluation of various government expenditure programs and the theories and structure of taxation. The effects of the various government expenditure and tax policies on the allocation of economic resources, production of goods and services, and the distribution of income and wealth are also discussed. Prerequisites: ECON 201 and 202 Co-listed as POLS 332. (F or Sp) |
