UW-RF To Present Holiday Concert

The University of Wisconsin-River Falls will present three performances of A holiday concert on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., and on Monday, Dec. 9 at 8 p.m.

University ensembles featured will include the Concert Choir under direction of Steven Boehlke; the Symphony Orchestra conducted by Kristin Tjornehoj; the Women's Chorus directed by Sarah Parks; and the Men's Chorus conducted by Paul Schaefer.

The ensembles will perform works by Tchaikovsky, William Byrd, John Rutter and Randall Thompson. An audience sing-along of familiar seasonal carols will also be part of this event. All performances will take place in the William Abbott Concert Hall of the Kleinpell Fine Arts Building.
