UW-RF Hosts September Performances

Several performances are scheduled at UW-River Falls for the month of September to welcome students and the community back to campus.
The Clayton Miller Blues Band will perform Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 5 p.m., in the Hagestad Student Center. The group has performed on campus before and consists of a father and his three sons. The UW-RF Leadership Center Entertainment Committee is sponsoring the event.
On Friday, Sep. 6, at 8 p.m., Peter Mayer will perform as the first act in the Coffee House series, also sponsored by the entertainment committee. The concert is free to students and $5 to non-students.
Perla Batalla is the first performer in the Wyman Series. The performance will be Monday, Sept. 9, at 8 p.m., in the William W. Abbott Concert Hall.
Jason Levasseur is the second performer on the Coffee House Series. He will perform Friday, Sept. 13, at 8 p.m., in Brandy's.
"I Saw It First," is a performance showcasing four up-and-coming bands on Sunday, Sept. 15. The time and location of the concerts will be announced later.
The band, Crash, will put on an outdoor concert in the Hagestad Student Center Mall at 11:15 a.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 17. Crash is a Dave Matthews tribute band. Their performance is also sponsored by the entertainment committee.
