SECTION III - Advice and Suggestions to the University
Members of the NCA Team serve as both evaluators and consultants. In their capacity
as consultants, the Team offers below observations and suggestions that are
advisory to UW-River Falls; that is, making a change or improvement based on
the listed suggestions is not directly related to the University's accreditation.
• The new Degree Audit Reporting System is appreciated by some students
and unknown to others. Efforts to inform students about DARS need to be continued.
• The Team encourages a response to students' interest in additional facilities
improvements for security, namely "blue light" phones, lighting for
dark spaces, and the like.
• Internal communications on the implementation of change-making decisions
should be conducted with the same attention to individual and group sensitivities
that has historically characterized your shared governance
