Stories, Legends, and Folktales from Around the WorldBooks in the UWRF LibraryOnce you find a story that you're interested in, and have found a few variant titles, use our online catalog to to see if our library own a copy of it. At the Quick Search search screen, enter the name of the fairy tale you are interested in, just as you would in an Internet search engine such as Google. When results come up, they will be in order of relevance, NOT DATE.
If you want to expand beyond the UWRF library, use Universal Borrowing. This online catalog allows you to search and order books from other UW libraries. Books arrive at the UWRF library in about 3-5 days. This gives you access to the huge libraries at UW-Madison and UW-Milwaukee, as well as other smaller, specialized collections.

SUPERSEARCH HELP GUIDESNeed help?? Here are five tutorials that will help you use SuperSearch to your advantage:
STYLE MANUAL HELPWhen composing an academic research paper, it's necessary to follow the correct citation rules both in your text, and on your work cited/references page. There are several different citation styles: MLA, APA, and Turabian to name a few. Your professor will most likely require a particular one. To view online help sheets, click here. I recommend the link titled "California State University Los Angelos Style Manual Guide" and "Citation Style for Research Papers (APA, Turabian, MLA, Chicago, AMA)." Paper manuals are also available for most styles; go to the Research Help Desk in the library if you need help locating one.
