A book review is an evaluative description of a book that appears in a publication soon after the book is published. It is helpful to remember that of all books published in a given year, only a small percentage are reviewed.  The following is a description of how to find a book review, followed by a list of resources that contain book reviews.  If you need further assistance, please see a librarian at the Reference Desk.

Step 1:  Gather information about the book, including title, author and date of publication.

Step 2:  Locate reviews or references to reviews in online databases, paper indexes, and/or websites.
