The Research Help Desk is staffed by librarians or trained student staff during the following hours:

Librarians to Go:
By filling out a Librarians to Go Request Form
UW-River Falls faculty and staff may arrange to have an individual consultation with a reference librarian in their office to address unique research
needs or get assistance selecting and searching electronic resources. "Librarians to Go" is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to
4:00 p.m.
Instruction Services:
Reference librarians meet frequently with classes to introduce students to library research. The main goal of the program is to provide
instruction in developing and applying library research strategies, including the use of basic or specialized research tools in print and non-print
formats. Sessions focus on the online catalog, print resources, online indexes and full-text databases, and the Internet.
