Gorden Hedahl is a Professor of Theatre at the University of Wisconsin-River
Falls. He has directed well over fifty productions from a large range
of theatrical periods and styles; has practical experience in several
areas of theatre; and has additional experience as a drama and film making
consultant, and guest instructor for schools and workshops. He has also
served in several capacities on boards for arts and theatre organizations,
both regionally and nationally. He spent 20+ years at UWWhitewater
and nearly six years at the University of AlaskaFairbanks before
moving to River Falls in 1998. He received UW-Whitewater's Outstanding
Teacher Award and has taught numerous courses in theatre and film, including
Intro to Cinema, History of Cinema, and World Cinema and has also developed
courses on Contemporary Theatre and American Minority Theatre. Throughout
his career, he has been actively involved with team teaching in a wide
variety of settings. His administrative experience includes work as a
Department Chair, Associate Dean, System Academic Planner, Associate Vice
Chancellor and Dean. |
