They are at the north end of the main floor, which is actually the second floor of the building. Here's a map. The journals are in A-Z order by title, but there are a couple of confusing points about how they file on the shelves.

“A, And, & The” do not count for filing if the title starts that way but they do count within the title. Also, about one fourth of the titles start with “Journal of...” and file in the “J's”.

Thus: The American Journal of Sports Medicine is in the “A” part of the alphabet. The Journal of Agricultural Science is in the "J" part of the alphabet about ten rows before the Journal of the American Chemical Society.
