FAQ Index

Three group study rooms are available on the main level and four more on the upper level of the library. Here's a map. They are available on a first come, first served basis. Groups have priority. If you feel uncomfortable asking a solo user to relinquish the room to your group, please ask the staff member at the Research Help Desk or the Circulation Desk.

Rooms 215, 216, & 217 are general group study rooms adjacent to the audio visual materials collection. Each can accommodate 4 to 5 students. On the upper level, rooms 327 A , B, and C are also general group study rooms. Each can accommodate up to 8 students.

Room 328 is equipped with a computer and projection equipment. Available on the computer are a web browser, Microsoft Office 2000, and various course application programs. The room may be used by students who need to do group work on a computer or by an individual student or group of students who need to practice a presentation using the computer projection equipment. The room can be reserved for two-hour time slots at the Circulation/Reserve Desk. Students must present a University I.D. card to check out the key to the room.
