UWRF is not a depository for any Inter-Governmental Organizations (IGO).  Selected materials are purchased from the UN, FAO, World Bank and other IGO's for the Library's collection. Consult the library's online catalog for specific holdings of print materials.

Major Databases

LexisNexis Academic UWRF Licenced Resource   provides full text coverage of EU law from the European Union Law (CELEX Database), international tax information from the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation, world news coverage, and foreign language newspapers.

LexisNexis Statistical UWRF Licenced Resource
Includes the Index to International Statistics (IIS) which provides abstract and index data for international intergovernmental statistical publications beginning in 1983.   Some full text tables are available for IGO data.
To search only international statistics  in the Statistical Universe change the the Sources to search box to Index to International Statistic (IIS).

Official Documents of the United Nations covers all types of official United Nations documentation, beginning in 1993. Selected older UN documents are included. ODS also provides access to the resolutions of the General Assembly, Security Council, Economic and Social Council and the Trusteeship Council from 1946 onwards.

STARnet: NATO Science, Technology and Research Network

UNBISnet - UN Bibliographic Information System includes: Catalogue of United Nations(UN) documents and publications indexed by the UN Dag Hammarskjöld Library and the Library of the UN Office at Geneva, voting records for all resolutions which were adopted - either without a vote or by roll-call or recorded vote - by the General Assembly beginning with its 38th session (1983-) and the Security Council beginning with its 1st year (1946-) and Citations to speeches made in the General Assembly beginning with its 38th session (1983-), the Security Council beginning with its 38th year (1983-), the Economic and Social Council beginning in 1983 and the Trusteeship Council beginning with its 15th special session (1982).

United Nations Treaty Body Database.  Contains all documents issued since 1992 by the six UN Treaty Monitoring Committees.

Official Statistics on the Web [University of Auckland Library] a meta site that pulls together links to official statistics from countries, government agencies and intergovernmental organizations. Statistics can be found by country, region or topic. Links to sources are clearly displayed. Topic links also note the source of the statistics.

    Data & Statistics
    Almost all the data reported in this site are derived, either directly or indirectly, from official statistical systems organized and financed by national governments. The World Bank, in collaboration with many other agencies is actively involved in improving both the coverage of and effectiveness of these systems.
