The University Archives serves as the official repository for the permanent, historical records of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. The primary mission of the University Archives is to collect and preserve materials that document the establishment, development, history and traditions of the university. Although some records are restricted to official university use, the majority of the collection is available to the university community as well as the general public.
Collections in the university archives range from administrative
records and departmental meeting minutes to building blueprints,
football films and students newspapers. The university collections
are not available online. However, collection inventories,
which detail the scope, content, arrangement and location
of a collection are available online.
Most university records can also be identified using the UW-River
Falls Voyager
library catalog. Click here
for help using Voyager to search for university records.
The University Archives holds a large photograph collection dating back to the 1870's including extensive photographs of student life, athletics, campus events, faculty portraits, aerial photographs of campus and much more.
