Students: Find Your Own Internship

Finding Internships: Some departments at UWRF maintain a listing of available internships, while other departments require students to research and find their own internship opportunities, then present those to their respective department Internship Coordinator to validate their worthiness for course credit. To find your own internship, you may use the below resources.

1) UWRF Hire A Falcon System * and Minnesota LandIt: Statewide job boards which receive active and open internships weekly. Log-in as a guest, or create an account, then set-up your "Job Agent" to have a list of internships automatically emailed to you when they arrive in either system.

* Internship Archives: Most organizations which hire internships do so annually. Get a jump-start by contacting organizations before they begin hiring by previewing the Hire a Falcon System "Internship Archives". After logging-in, search for jobs by Position Type "Internship (ARCHIVES)".

2) Internship Web Sites: search a listing of internship web sites. Also, try a UWRF purchased service called internships.com for a large listing of internships.
