Finding Internships: Some departments at UWRF maintain a listing of available internships, while other departments require students to research and find their own internship opportunity, then present it to their department's internship coordinator for validating its worthiness for course credit. Use the below resources to find your own internship.
1) UWRF Hire A Falcon System* and Minnesota LandIt: Statewide job boards which receive active and open internships weekly. Log-in as a guest, or create an account, then set-up your "Job Agent" to have a list of internships automatically emailed to you when they arrive in either system.
* The UWRF Hire a Falcon System containes a listing of "Internship Archives" that may be previewed for potential internship opportunities.
2) Internship Web Sites: search a listing of internship web sites. Also, try a UWRF purchased service below called internships.com for a large listing of internsihps.
3) Internship Binders At UWRF Career Services: Career Services maintains binders in their resource library which contain hardcopy listings of past and present internship opportunities submitted to their office by employers. Many of these internships are "ongoing" postings, as those employers hire interns continuously throughout the year. Please visit Career Services to view these listings.
