Tips -

-To add extra minutes, park further away at work. By walking an extra minute to and from your car you can easily accumulate 10 more minutes this week. If you park even further away, say a 3 minute walk, you can add 30 minutes!

- Turn off your TV and hide the remote. Replace your TV time with an enjoyable walk, play with your kids, or work in your garden. Gardening is excellent exercise and provides a terrific range of movements for your body.

- If you can't do 30 minutes of continuous actvity because you don't have time or it's to difficult. Break the 30 minutes into three 10 minutes segments.

- Since most of us work in a busy office. A great way to insure that you get some physical activity is to schedule it in your calendar like an appointment. That way you already have time set aside to work out.

-There are a lot of "hidden" minutes throughout the day that can be used for physical activity. Wear a comfortable pair of shoes or bring some along that you can walk around in. That way you can take advantage of those minutes between meetings or appointments.

-There are a lot of house-hold objects that can serve as great tools for resistance training at home. Doing activities like performing squats with a gallon of milk overhead or in front of you are great ways to get the benefits of resistance training. Use your imagination and get strong!

-If you want to work out at home, having a " video library" of fitness videos can give you the guidence of a group exercise class with the freedom to do it when every you want..
