About the Graduate Studies Office

Graduate Studies is part of the Academic Affairs Office and provides oversight for graduate education at the university. We administer graduate records, policies and other procedures relating to graduate students. 

Applications for admission are collected by the Admissions Office, and are then forwarded to the appropriate college department for review and approval.

Accreditations

The UWRF is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) is an independent corporation and one of two commission members of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA), which is one of six regional institutional accreditors in the United States. The Higher Learning Commission accredits degree-granting post-secondary educational institutions in the North Central region.

Some of our graduate programs are also recognized by various professional associations such as:

• The American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education
