Description:  Vietnam is a country, not a war – explore its rich history, magnificent beauty, ethnic diversity & doi moi – Vietnam’s economic transformation (new members of the World Trade Organization).  The people of Vietnam are some of the friendliest on the planet, love Americans, welcome tourists and are eager to share their homes and their stories.

  • Cruise the Mekong Delta &  Ha Long Bay
  • Explore Hanoi & Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)
  • Visit, eat & sleep in  ethnic minority villages
  • Sun on the beaches of Mui Ne or Nha Trang
  • Climb through the Cu Chi Tunnels (and shoot an M-16 or AK-47 if you like)

This year, we’re also planning to visit Luang Phrabang, Laos – ride elephants, trek to Hmong and Kmu villages, swim at the waterfall and more. Vietnam and Laos are safe -- no terrorism, no violent crime – but will certainly provide an adventure!
