Morning Program Overview

New Transfer Students
This will be your first visit to campus as an "official" UW-River Falls student. During New Transfer Student Registration, you will meet with academic advisors, select courses, register for classes for fall semester, meet other new students, and learn about University services. You'll have questions; we'll have the answers. We can't wait to meet you and introduce you to our campus!

7:15 am - 8:00 am	Check In for the Program
8:00 am - 8:30 am	Welcome and Introduction to UWRF Experience
8:30 am	Students Separate from Friends and Family Members
8:30 am - 12:00 pm	University Information, Advising, Registration, ID Cards, etc.
12:00 pm (approx)	Students and Families Meet
11:00 am - 12:30 pm	Office Fair

Friends and Family Members
Family members play an important role in their student's successful transition to campus. We hope that you'll consider joining us for the Family Program during New Transfer Student Registration.

During the program, our staff will help you understand University policies and transition issues that your student may experience. We'll offer suggestions about how to be a partner in their college experience and provide answers to all your questions.

8:45 am - 9:05 am	Creating a Culture for Learning: A Guide for Families
9:05 am - 9:35 am	Money Matters
9:50 am - 11:00 am	Individual Sessions (choose two): Money Matters, Career Planning, Study Abroad, Technology, Residence Life, or Dining on Campus
11:00 am - 12:00 pm	Students and Families Meet (time is approximate)
